Four Years of Hypercore: Building the Operating System for Private Credit

This month marks four years since Hypercore was founded with a simple idea: private credit deserves technology as sophisticated as the asset class itself.

In that time, the industry has shifted dramatically. Assets under management have surged, deal structures have grown more complex, and expectations around transparency and reporting have intensified. Through it all, our mission has remained constant - to help private credit managers operate at scale with systems built for their reality, not retrofitted from elsewhere.

Here are some highlights from our journey over the past year:

Scaling the Platform

Over the past year, we’ve reached new milestones. Hypercore now powers the management of more than 10,000 active loans, representing $5.65 billion in assets under management and $10.29 billion in total commitments - a twofold increase year-to-date. These figures reflect the momentum of a market that increasingly recognizes the need for purpose-built infrastructure.

Expanding Product Capabilities

Our platform has also expanded in meaningful ways. We introduced AI capabilities for pre-close stages, accelerating borrower intake, deal analysis, and underwriting preparation. We extended AI into ongoing customer support, simplifying day-to-day operations for our clients. We rolled out our Control Layer for SOX-ready governance with structured approvals and audit trails, expanded multi-currency dashboards to support FX and hedging at scale, and unveiled a fully customized report gallery to give managers control over how they present portfolio data to investors and internal teams. Each of these advances was designed with one purpose in mind: to turn a traditionally manual process into a streamlined system of action.

Recognition and Momentum

Recognition of this progress has come from across the industry. Hypercore has been shortlisted for multiple awards this year, including the Private Equity Awards, Alternative Credit Awards, Credit Strategy Awards, and The Drawdown Awards. These nominations reflect not just the strength of our technology, but also the tangible outcomes it enables for firms navigating today’s complex private credit environment.

Looking Ahead

As we celebrate four years, our focus is firmly on the road ahead. The next chapter of private credit will demand more than record-keeping, it will require intelligent systems that embed automation, governance, and insight into the fabric of daily operations. We are committed to building exactly that, and to equipping our clients with the tools they need to grow with confidence.

The opportunity is enormous, and we’re proud to be laying the foundations for the next decade of private credit.
